Living the Adventure

Seeing Differently by Isabella “Bella” Quick

I am thirteen years old and this was my first mission trip ever. After going to Haiti I feel more aware. I feel this because I’ve seen my dad go for six or seven years and I’ve seen all the pictures and I thought, “There’s a country that needs help, a country full of poverty.” I helped with the water filtration classes and after doing that I can see the hope and the will in the people. So now, after my trip to Haiti, I don’t see poverty, I see people. Now, when I think of Haiti, I think of hope.
